Work to be performed under this project consists of providing all materials, labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform all work required by drawing and specifications, to provide the Government with a complete and usable facility for Kennedy Space Center, in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), FL.  The work consists of replacing the existing tower with a new 210-foot self-supporting tower in the same location, which supports 45 Weather Squadron instrumentation. The demolition and removal of the existing tower is required, and the new tower constructed in its place. Additionally, the contractor shall provide a foundation design for the new tower, and a new lightning protection system and ground loop, including FAA beacon lights as necessary. 

Period of Performance: 265 calendar days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award.

This is a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract for Space Launch Delta 45, Kennedy Space Center,, FL (accessed within Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL).

Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to cancel this invitation for bid, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this invitation of bid, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
