THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not promise a Statement of Intent or constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue either in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties’ expense. It is the responsibility of the potential responder to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
DESCRIPTION. The Project Manager for Tactical Network (PM TN) in support of Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) seeks to identify small form factor, modular and scalable at the edge computing and transport cloud applications using low latency high throughput links that meet NGC2 Transport, Infrastructure, and Architecture requirements for On-the-Move (OTM) and At-the-Quick-Halt operations. Systems will support module style plug and play with Standardized A-Kit/Vehicle Envelope (SAVE) chassis and leverage a universal baseband platform that is M55181/2-01 and M55181/4-01 power connection compatible for the OTM and quick dismountable kit. Solutions will be able to support Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA). PM TN also seeks mountable and transport capable SATCOM solutions to meet both PLEO and GEO options for transport. These will be both platform and dismounted solutions to enable warfighters across the formations.
