The 502d Contracting Squadron, located at 1655 Selfridge Ave JBSA Lackland TX 78236, is releasing a solicitation for commercial services under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, as detailed in this notice for Aquatic Center Pool Service and Maintenance. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for non-personal services. The award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method.

NOTICE TO OFFEROR(s).The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

Important Information for Offerors:

  • Small Business Requirement: Only proposals from certified service-disabled veterans owned small business concerns will be considered. Proposals from other than small businesses will be rejected.
  • Offeror Responsibility: It is the offeror's sole responsibility to ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and compliant with all requirements outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Late Submissions: The Government is not responsible for late or incomplete submissions. Late responses will be handled according to FAR 52.212-1(f).
  • Questions: All questions and concerns must be submitted to the points of contact listed above by Thursday, 05 June 2025 at 10:00 AM CDT.  Questions submitted after this deadline will not be considered. Answers to timely submitted questions will be posted on SAM.gov by Monday, 09 June 2025 at 4:00 PM CDT. Interested vendors will be notified when the Q&A is available. However, vendors are responsible for continuing to monitor SAM.gov for updates.
  • Site Coordination: Attendance at the scheduled site survey is strongly encouraged to allow offerors to fully understand the project scope and existing conditions. The Contractor is responsible for independently verifying all equipment and details on site. Meet at JBSA Lackland Visitor Center at NLT Tuesday, 03 June 2025 at 12:30 PM CDT. If a visitor base pass is required, coordination must be submitted NLT Monday, 02 June 2025 at 10:00 AM CDT. If you plan on attending, please send an email to the POC listed with the name(s) of individuals who will be in attendance, phone number, State or Federal issued Identification such as Driver's License, State Identification, or U.S. Passport, and Vehicle Information (License plate state and number).
  • Attachments: Carefully review ALL attachments to this Solicitation Notice. Complete and return the attached Request for Proposal (RFP), along with specified requirements listed.
  • Response Deadline: All interested contractors must submit a response by the due date and time specified in this notice.
