REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is not a request for quotes. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8-San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential small business qualified firms capable of providing the necessary labor, materials, supervision, protective clothing, inspections, and equipment necessary to perform Unarmed Security Guards Services for the nine (9) facilities that comprise the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), from which eight (8) are located throughout Puerto Rico and one (1) of them in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561612. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, address, point of contact. Contractors should provide their size status for the above references NAICS code. (i.e. small, large) and whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned concern. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the SAM.gov website: https://sam.gov/ at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Standard company brochures by itself will not be considered sufficient response to this Source Sought. Specific area to be addressed in capability packages submitted by respondents are as follows: Security Agency license and operational permits for the two localities where services will be performed (Puerto Rico and USVI). In accordance with Puerto Rico Law 108 and USVI Code, Title 23, Chapter 17. If your company doesn t possess the required licenses for a specific location and you would consider to sub-contract, include the sub-contractor licenses along with their socio-economic group, general information (UEI, DUNS, point of contact, etc.) It is anticipated that the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with a Base Period and Four Option Periods of 12 months each. Responses to this notice must be submitted via email to Aurea.Gonzalez@va.gov no later than 10:00 AM AST (Puerto Rico Local Time) on June 23, 2025. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
