The federal government awarded contracts valued at over $630 billion in FY 2024. In a record-breaking achievement, small businesses received more than $183 billion (28.8%) of all federal contracting dollars, far exceeding the 23% goal and marking the fourth consecutive year of growth.

Of the contract dollars awarded to small businesses in FY24:

$78.1 billion went to Small Disadvantaged Businesses (12.26% of total contracts)
$32.82 billion went to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (5.15%)
